Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a YouTube Video Editor, with channels that have scaled to 200K+ subscribers
• Strong experience in content management or related roles, particularly for YouTube and/or LinkedIn
• Ability to work with the Zoom camera open during shift

Key Responsibilities:
YouTube Video Editing & Creative Execution
• Independently edit and publish YouTube videos, ensuring high-quality, engaging, and platform-optimized output.
• Manage the YouTube channel workflow, including scheduling, uploading, optimizing metadata, and implementing best practices.
• Craft compelling storytelling through pacing, transitions, and narrative flow to maximize audience retention.
• Incorporate motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to elevate production value.
• Optimize videos for YouTube performance, including intros, chapter markers, end screens, and audience engagement features.
• Monitor analytics and make data-driven adjustments to improve watch time, retention, and engagement.
Team Lead Support & Creative
• Direction Assist in leading and managing a team of video editors, animators, graphic designers, and content creators
• Provide creative direction, feedback, and performance management
• Maintain strong team accountability and output standards
• Foster a high-performance and collaborative creative environment
YouTube Channel Management & Growth
• Support content strategy and assist in executing growth initiatives for the YouTube channel.
• Provide input on titles, thumbnails, retention tactics, and audience engagement strategies.
• Help monitor YouTube analytics and implement performance-driven improvements in collaboration with leadership.
• Contribute ideas to support the channel’s goal of reaching 300,000+ subscribers within a year.
Content Strategy & Production
• Develop and implement content strategies aligned with marketing goals
• Oversee high-quality production across video, social media, blogs, and email
• Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across platforms
• Manage and maintain a structured content calendar
Creative & Technical Execution
• Demonstrate hands-on knowledge of video editing, graphic design, and animation
• Guide editors on storytelling, pacing, motion graphics, and creative direction
• Ensure multimedia content meets professional and platform-specific standards
Performance & Collaboration
• Track and analyse content performance metrics to identify growth opportunities
• Must know how to pull data via Studio and have experience Google Cloud Platforms
• Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to align content with campaigns
• Drive innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement within the team

• Strong understanding of content marketing best practices and strategies.
• Excellent writing and video editing skills.
• Proficiency in content management systems and social media platforms.
• Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
